Executive Partnering to Invest in Children (EPIC) encourages business leaders to put early childcare and education at the top of their advocacy priorities, ensuring there are adequate resources to support the workforce of today and build the workforce of tomorrow.

Making Children A Priority

Leadership & Education

EPIC works to increase the business community’s awareness of the importance of early care and education and engagement efforts by guiding public will efforts through leadership, idea generation, and solution implementation.

Workforce

Helping employers attract and retain the best workforce, while supporting environments that enable families and children to thrive by offering resources and technical expertise that lead to implementation of family friendly policies that work for both employers and employees.

Policy

EPIC is shaping and advancing policies that support children and families by engaging business leaders for testimony, op-eds, and legislation advocacy; and informing regulation (rule) and public funding.

Childcare Infrastructure

Engaging employers in solutions that meet the infrastructure, capital and workforce needs for sustainability by promoting access to affordable child care real estate and facilities. Additionally, EPIC is fostering public/private partnerships that support investments in early childhood and infrastructure.

“With the support of the David and Laura Merage Foundation and a broad membership of business leaders, EPIC has been successful in elevating early childhood as a priority for the business community and is positively impacting the workforce, economy, and the lives of thousands of children and families.”

-Nicole Riehl, President and CEO of EPIC
