In Response to the Overturning of Roe v. Wade

Women’s Rights = Human Rights.

This month the Supreme Court overturned nearly 50 years of precedent. As a foundation committed to equity and civil rights, we wholeheartedly disagree with the court’s decision on reproductive rights. It is a step backward for our society and ignores the fundamental rights to privacy that we hold dear. Mothers are already struggling to gain economic security and this decision threatens the ability of all people to make personal healthcare decisions that will forever shape their futures. We trust women to make decisions that are best for themselves and their families and to remove this basic human right is shameful.

We have spent the last two decades advancing the wellbeing of women and children and we will continue to drive for a society where all families can thrive.
