#ELVCares Campaign

During a time when it’s easy to focus on the negative, Early Learning Ventures (ELV) has launched a social media campaign that shares “feel good stories” from within the early childhood community. First up on the #StrongerTogether #ELVCares campaign is child care provider, Coreen, from Wishes and Creams Child Learning Center located in Colorado’s Mesa County.

Coreen has 39.5 years of child care experiences and has owned her child care center, Wishes and Dreams, for 17 years.Coreen and her center knew that families were struggling with job hour cuts, job losses, and a lack of resources, so they decided they would put together Easter baskets for all their families.

These baskets consisted of reusable shopping bags with plastic eggs for families to hide, candy to fill them, Easter crafts, and even hot dogs with buns for a family picnic outside. Wishes and Creams created 70 bags and individually delivered and distributed 66 of these Easters bags to their families to enjoy over the holiday.
