Sabrina Merage Foundation Supports Moishe House in Expansion

In an email released yesterday, Sabrina Merage, as a Moishe House Board Member and the Founder of the Global Community Fund, reached out to encourage support in continuing to expand support to thousand of young Jewish adults throughout the world.

Dear Friends,

About a year ago, we began aggressively addressing a serious issue and opportunity: How to best support the crucial growth of Moishe Houses outside North America. We successfully launched the Global Community Fund and brought in several key partners, including JDC, UJA-Federation of New York, Righteous Persons Foundation and other individuals, to meet the demand from amazing young Jewish adults in Europe and beyond.

We hope you will share in our excitement for the expansion in France, as described in yesterday’s JTA article, and join us in building the Global Community Fund to support the thousands of young Jewish adults ready, willing, able and waiting to bring a Moishe House to their community.

In the meantime, to the Moishe House Paris – Beauborg residents, Noemie, Carole and Morane: Thank you for creating community for your peers – one that is restoring the Jewish cultural scene and providing a “measure of normalcy.”

Warmly,

Sabrina Merage Naim

MH Board Member and Founder of the Global Community Fund
